Ugly Side by Blue October
I must have sneezed On knees I freeze I mean I just choked up Somehow I slept I dream, I mean I dreamt of nothing Able to breathe A sweet relief Now that you're here with me A northern degree Dove into me Now I'm recovering (Chorus) I only want you to see My favorite part of me And not my ugly side Not my ugly side Hook up a C.B. Wave a way For conversation flow I'm shoved in your cave, to wage this rage Don't let me go A kick and a scream is all that seems To mean a lot thus far I won't let you on my stage, my page You can't know Yet you have to know (Chorus) So calm... and now it's dark I look for you to light my heart I'm in between the moon and where you are I know... I can't be far |

Calling You by Blue October
Theres something that i cant quite explain i'm so in love with you you'll never take that away and if i said a hundred times before expect a thousand more you never take that away well expect me to be calling you to see if you're ok when i'm not around asking if you love me i love the way you make it sound calling you to see do i try too hard to make you smile to make a smile well i will keep calling you to see if you're sleepin are you dreamin and if you're dreamin are you dreamin of me i cant believe you actually picked...me i thought that the world had lost its sway (its so hard sometimes) then i fell in love with you (then came you) and you took that away (its not so difficult, the world is not so difficult) you take away the old show me the new and i feel like i can fly when i stand next to you so what if I'm on this phone a hundred miles from home i take the words you gave and send them back to you i only want to see if you're ok when i'm not around asking if you love me i love the way you make it sound calling you to see do i try too hard to make you smile to make a smile i will keep calling you to see if you're sleepin are you dreamin and if you're dreamin are you dreamin of me i cant believe you actually picked...me well i will keep calling you to see if you're sleepin are you dreamin and if you're dreamin are you dreamin of me i cant believe you actually picked...me i will keep calling you to see if you're sleepin are you dreamin and if you're dreamin are you dreamin of me i cant believe you actually picked...me |

Lifeline
When I was a boy I didn't care 'bout a thing It was me and this world and a broken dream I was blaming myself for all that was going wrong I was way out there on the wrong side of town And the ones that I loved I started pushing 'em out Then I realized that it was all my fault I've been looking for a lifeline For what seems like a lifetime I'm drowning in the pain, breaking down again Looking for a lifeline So I put out my hand and I asked for some help We tore down the walls I built around myself I was struck by the light and I fell to the ground I've been looking for a lifeline For what seems like a lifetime I'm drowning in the pain, breaking down again Looking for a lifeline Is there anybody out there? Can you pull me from this ocean of despair? I'm drowning in the pain, breaking down again Looking for a lifeline You know a heart of gold won't take you all the way And in a world so cold it's hard to keep the faith I'm never gonna fade away, yeah I've been looking for a lifeline For what seems like a lifetime I'm drowning in the pain, breaking down again Looking for a lifeline Is there anybody out there? Can you pull me from this ocean of despair? I'm drowning in the pain, breaking down again Looking for a lifeline |

Voyeur
And when the day ends I'm sure she feels sorrow The lonely guy I am, I wait for her to change I've been here two days, I'll sure be here tomorrow I'd eat her all if she were on my dinner plate (And I wish) I wish she'd be more kind now I'm out of luck 'cause the shades are pulled down I've seen everything there is to be shown I followed her all the way home I can't be too cool in a tree with my pants down The air is cold and I've got splinters in my feet She caught me once, but I don't think that she cares now Unlike before, her view is now blocked by a leaf (And I wish) I wish she'd be more kind now I'm out of luck 'cause the shades are pulled down I've seen everything there is to be shown I followed her all the way home I bet this last time's the one time too many The rush of waiting is burning through my head Right after supper her brother shower's twice a week He kicks my a$$ so much, that filthy white inbred I've made mistakes by looking in the wrong window Her dad is big and I've never seen his face I've been here two days, and I'll sure be here tomorrow My lady's so sweet, she likes to entertain (And I wish) I wish she'd be more kind now I'm out of luck 'cause the shades are pulled down I've seen everything there is to be shown I followed her all the way home I bet this last time's the one time too many The rush of waiting is burning through my head Right after supper her brother shower's twice a week He kicks my a$$ so much, that filthy white inbred (1, 2, 3, 4) |

Nowhere Fast lyrics
Will I ever get to, to where it is that I am going Will I ever follow through with what I... with what I have planned I guess it's possible, that I have been a bit distracted And the directions for me are a lot less in demand. In demand. Will I ever get to where I'm going If I do will I know when I'm there If the wind blew me in the right direction. Yeah Would I even care I would. I take a look around, it's evident the scene has changed. And there are times when I feel improved, improved upon the past. And there are times when I can't seem to understand at all. And yes it seems as though I'm going nowhere really ****ing fast. Nowhere fast. Will I ever get to where I'm going If I do will I know when Im there If the wind blew me in the right direction. Yeah Would I even care I would. I would. I would. Will I ever get to where I'm going If I do, will I know when I am there If the wind blew me in the right direction. Yeah Would I even care I would. I would. I would. I would. I would. |

How To Save A Life : The Fray
Step one you say we need to talk He walks you say sit down it's just a talk He smiles politely back at you You stare politely right on through Some sort of window to your right As he goes left and you stay right Between the lines of fear and blame You begin to wonder why you came CHORUS: Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life Let him know that you know best Cause after all you do know best Try to slip past his defense Without granting innocence Lay down a list of what is wrong The things you've told him all along And pray to God he hears you And pray to God he hears you CHORUS: Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life As he begins to raise his voice You lower yours and grant him one last choice Drive until you lose the road Or break with the ones you've followed He will do one of two things He will admit to everything Or he'll say he's just not the same And you'll begin to wonder why you came CHORUS: Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life CHORUS: Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life How to save a life How to save a life CHORUS: Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life CHORUS: Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life How to save a life |

Bite The Curb , Bite The Curb
Just When I Thought My Work Was Done You Had To Go And Pull It Just When You Thought Your Luck Had Won I've Got Another Bullet My Hands Are Tired But I've Got Strength To Fire And Everytime I Watch The TV. News I Sharpen My Sword And Everytime I'm Watching Videos The List Grows Some More But I've Got So Many Things To Do I'll Light The Spark Take The World From The Dark Yeah! Each Laugh Is Another Bruise! Each Remark Is Another Noose! I'm Getting Pissed Now And You Made The List! Think Of All The CEO's That Fortune Smiled Upon 500 Little Maggots Make The List A Bit Too Long In My Mind I Know All Things In Good Time I'll Light The Spark Take The World From The Dark Yeah! Each Laugh Is Another Bruise! Each Remark Is Another Noose! I'm Getting Pissed Now And You Made The List! Time Has Come And I Don't Know Exactly Where To Start I've Got So Many Names But Than You're Such An Easy Mark When Sundown Comes The List Will Shrink By One I'll Light The Spark Take The World From The Dark Yeah! Each Laugh Is Another Bruise! Each Remark Is Another Noose! I'm Getting Pissed Now And You Made The List! |

My Name Is Jonas
My name is Jonas I'm carrying the wheel Thanks for all you've shown us But this is how we feel Come sit next to me Pour yourself some tea Just like grandma made When we couldn't find sleep Things were better then Once but never again We've all left the den Let me tell you 'bout it The choo-choo train left right on time A ticket costs only your mind The driver said, "Hey man, we go all the way" Of course we were willing to pay My name is Wepeel I gotta box full of your toys They're fresh out of batteries But they're still makin' noise (makin' noise) Tell me what to do Now the tank is dry Now this wheel is flat And you know what else? Guess what I received In the mail today Words of deep concern From my little brother The building's not going as he planned The foreman has injured his hand The dozer will not clear a path The driver swears he learned his math The workers are going home The workers are going home The workers are going home The workers are going home Yeah! The workers are going home The workers are going home The workers are going home Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! My name is Jonas |

Worst Man Won
"You know what? I think you got the wrong impression about me I think in all fairness I should explain to you exactly what it is that I do. For instance tomorrow morning I'll get up nice and early Take a walk down over to the bank and ... Walk in and see and uh... If you don't have my money for me I'll... crack your f@ckin' head wide-open In front of everybody in the bank. And just about the time that I'm comin' out of jail Hopefully, you'll be coming out of your coma. And guess what? I'll split your f@ckin' head open again." Breaking, this breaking up is hard to take No more apologies to say The bottom dropped, you tried to change me It didn't work, it's time to carry on Anger, my temper made you so afraid Final decisions have been made You've gone ahead found A new shoulder to cry upon I was the last to know And the worst man won I've already apologized One hundred times (And the worst man won) Can you see the pain in my eyes Take a long hard look (The worst man won) Should have noticed from the start How do you mend a broken heart And now I know the worst man won |

Wait For Sleep - Dream Theater
Standing by the window Eyes upon the moon Hoping that the memory will leave his spirit soon She shuts the doors and lights And lays her body on the bed Where images and words are running deep She has too much pride to pull the sheets above her head So quietly she lays and waits for sleep She stares at the ceiling And tries not to think And pictures the chains She's been trying to link again But the feeling is gone And water can't cover her memory And ashes can't answer her pain God give me the power to take breath from a breeze And call life from a cold metal frame In with the ashes Or up with the smoke from the fire With wings up in heaven Or here, lying in bed Palm of her hand to my head Now and forever curled in my heart And the heart of the world |

Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle
It's so relieving To know that you're leaving as soon as you get paid It's so relaxing To hear that you're asking whenever you get your way It's so soothing To know that you'll sue me, this is starting to sound the same I miss the comfort in being sad I miss the comfort in being sad I miss the comfort in being saddd-aaaddd-aaaddd-aaaddd yeah.... In her false witness, we hope you're still with us, To see if they float or drown My favorite patient, a display of patience, Disease-covered Puget Sound She'll come back as fire, And burn all the liars, Leave a blanket of ash on the ground I miss the comfort in being sad I miss the comfort in being sad I miss the comfort in being saddd-aaaddd-aaaddd-aaaddd yeah.... It's so relieving To know that you're leaving as soon as you get paid It's so relaxing To know that you're asking wherever you get your way It's so soothing To know that you'll sue me, this is starting to sound the same I miss the comfort in being sad I miss the comfort in being sad I miss the comfort in being saddd-aaaddd-aaaddd-aaaddd yeah.... |

I Believe
All I know is what I've been sold You can read my life like a fortune told I've seen the dream, there's no land of Oz But I got my brain and I got a heart And courage built I won't let go What we need right now is ....soul I can't do this, you can't do that They feed us lines but I won't act And all good things will come to pass But the truth is all you have to have And would you lie for it? (Do you) cry for it? (Would you) die for it? Would you I believe, I believe With every breath that I breathe You and me can turn a whisper to a scream I believe, I believe You gave it all when you gave more You do know what you came here for You'll pay the cost, like it's your cross to bear Are we the ones that put it there Would you scheme for it scream for it, bleed for it Would you I believe, I believe Believe we're still worth The fight you'll see There's no hope for this world tonight I believe, I believe Don't look up to your movie screens In record stores or magazines Close your eyes and you will see That you are all you really need I believe, I believe With every breath that I breathe You and me can turn a whisper to a scream I believe, I believe |

Champs Élysées
I look so debonair I haven't got a care in this world, this crazy world And I act oh so suave Sophisticated, boy I've got it all I'm a star Dance the night away Down in gay Paris Dance the night away On the Champs Élysées Dance the night away Down in gay Paris Dance the night away Make it sleazy I am a mystery Not what I seem to be, oh no It's so Parisian I am a masquerade Just a man-parade So I dance, I dance with you Dance the night away Down in gay Paris Dance the night away On the Champs Élysées Dance the night away Down in gay Paris Dance the night away Make it sleazy I look so debonaire I haven't got a care in this world, this crazy world You'll see my name in lights One of the better sights I'm the attraction, I'm a star! Dance the night away Down in gay Paris Dance the night away On the Champs Élysées Dance the night away Down in gay Paris Dance the night away Make it sleazy |

Dreams
Oh, my life is changing everyday In every possible way And my dreams it's never quite as it seems Never quiet as it seems I know I've felt like this before But now I'm feeling it even more Because it came from you And then I open up and see The person falling here is me A different way to be I want more, impossible to ignore Impossible to ignore And they'll come true, impossible not to do Impossible not to do And now I tell you openly You have my heart so don't hurt me You're what I couldn't find A totally amazing mind So understanding and so kind You're everything to me Oh, my life is changing every day In every possible way And my dreams it's never quite as it seems 'Cause you're a dream to me, dream to me |

"To think about the origins of hip hop in this culture and also about homeland security is to see that there are at the very least two worlds in America. One of the well-to-do and the struggling. For if ever there was the absence of homeland security it is seen in the gritty roots of hip hop. For the music arises from a generation that feels with some justice that they have been betrayed by those who came before them. That they are at best tolerated in schools, feared on the streets, and almost inevitably destined for the hell holes of prison. They grew up hungry, hated and unloved. And this is the psychic fuel that seems to generate the anger that seems endemic in much of the music and poetry. One senses very little hope above the personal goals of wealth and the climb above the pit of poverty. In the broader society the opposite is true, for here more than any place on earth wealth is more wide spread and so bountiful. What passes for the middle class in America could pass for the upper class in most of the rest of the world. They're very opulent and relative wealth makes the insecure. And homeland security is a governmental phrase that is as oxymoronic, as crazy as saying military intelligence, or the U.S Department of Justice. They're just words that have very little relationship to reality. And do you feel safer now? Do you think you will anytime soon? Do you think duck tape and Kleenex and color codes will make you safer? From Death row this is Mumia Abu Jamal."
First track off Immortal Technique's album "Revolutionary Vol. 2" |

Cup Of Tea
Little Englander in America, I don't know what I'm doing here, I put the kettle on, make a cup of tea, Put the kettle on two sugars for me, All I want is a cup of tea, a cup of tea, a cup of tea, All I want is a cup of tea, It's the taste of home for me. Little Englander in America, I don't know what I'm doing here, Coffee TV have a nice day A cup of tea would blow me away All I want is a cup of tea, a cup of tea, a cup of tea, All I want is a cup of tea, It's the taste of home for me. Lately, Robin Thicke's Dreamworld has had me entranced
I would be you, you would be me, we would be one, we would be just fine The ice caps wouldn't be melting and neither would I, mmh I would just drive my big old car, and everything would be alright And energy would just fall down right from the sky, yeah Words would fly right from out of my mind, out of my mind into your heart, into your life And everything would sound just right, and no one would stop me from drinking my wine That's my dreamworld, that's my dreamworld, it's more than a dream My dreamworld, that's my dreamworld, and I wanna live in my dream, (dream) For the real world just don't feel right I wouldn't spend my days searching for, searching for lost time, yeah hey yee (ooh ooh, dream) I wouldn't be so damn sensitive, I'd let things go by No matter what the weather, I'd learn to change, I'd change with the time, yeah he And everytime I need a woman, she'd appear right by me She hold me tight, treat me right, and tell me that everything is gonna be, is gonna be alright, alright That's my dreamworld, that's my dreamworld I would tell Van Gogh that he was loved, there's no need to cry I would say Marvin Gay your father didn't want you to die (dream) There would be no black and white, the world just treat my wife right We could walk down in Mississipi and no one would look at us trice, ehhe he yihi That's my dreamworld, that's my dreamworld, it's more than a dream That's my dreamworld, that's my dreamworld, and I wanna live in my dream, (dream) |
