Hey Betty, Sage is still busy moving. Too busy to party right now I guess. Hopes to finish moving in this weekend. Then just needs to start unpacking.

When I moved I only had 25 yrs of marital stuff and kids stuff to go through. That was hard, but not as hard as I've experienced in my lifetime.

I've learned a lot about putting a positive spin on things. Makes life easier/better.

Crap I hate moving, but if things don't get better down here I may have to relocate back to Va
If it comes to that I'm not lugging a bunch of stuff with me. Look out Goodwill and Salvation Army, here I come!

good to clean out sometimes

I should clean out some stuff. I have enough junk in my spare room to build 5 or 6 pc's. Anyone need a real speedy 386 w/ 256 Mg of ram let me know.

: you know what.? This would make a really good News years resolution for me declutter! Maybe by 2010 I will have made A dent in it!

It was a great process for me to work through. Not only decluttered and downsized my house but it also decluttered my mind.

that is still here, geez maybe I need to get a life. On second thought maybe I'll just pop over to the watering hole and grab a couple of cold ones (it is Friday).

I know there are those who get depressed around the holidays. I never do. On New Years Eve I just kind of look back over the past year, all of the good things that have happened in my life, in the lives of my family, the fact that we're still here on this earth. I see each New Year as an opportunity to make something good happen, to experience new things. At 10:00 PM, with or without company, I watch one of the New Year's Eve shows on TV, watch the ball drop. I look forward to each new year. But that's just me.
I just have a knack for choosing joy, whenever possible, over sadness.
