I could be wrong, but it sounds as if he has the attitude "she's never gonna do anything, so I can just keep doing what I'm doing". If that's the case, maybe it's about time you let him know you aren't going to let him get away with things like this anymore. And who knows, maybe you taking him to court will give him the good kick in the butt that he needs to make him realize what his priorities should be.

You might be right. Funny thing is though.... he is being so nice. He always was a manipulator. Maybe he'll be shocked when I do it. I think you all think I should've already done it....  The papers really do say to find alternate means. I tried that. It failed... Friday at 5 pm is his deadline to pay.
