Do you think that the person you love should know every secret you own, or are there some things better left unsaid?

Do you think that the person you love should know every secret you own, or are there some things better left unsaid? Depends on the other person.... |

|
depends on the level of affinity, communication and reality

sometimes if things go bad the person can lash out and reveal things you would have liked to keep private probaly the longer I was with someone the more I would share. It might be better concentrating on the present

I think he should know everything but my identity as a secret agent. But really, I don't want him to know something that will either hurt him or make him disagree. It all depends what the secret is. Any secret that is serious, yes, he should know. He is likely to find out through someone else sooner or later.

Do you think that the person you love should know every secret you own, or are there some things better left unsaid? If it's cheating then no that shouldn't be left unsaid. But it just depends on what it really is. Somethings are better left unsaid and all at times. |

Not if it isn't relevant to the relationship. But then, it may come up in the future. Our past build's us, make's us who we are. It may become necisary to reveal personal info to explain ourselve's.

I have found that its better to talk about thepresent and the future (if there is one) than it is to talk about the past.
Yeah a funny story or experance as an example is alright but full disclosure of the past, where you have been, what you have done, who you worked for isn't really anyones business. And sometimes it can end a relationship. The past is better left there. Things of that nature are better left unsaid. |

I don't like keeping secrets. I am the "open book" type of person. I don't demand the same from who I am with, it's just how I am. It also keeps down the incidents of blackmail.
