Giacomo...there is no goodness without God. His goodness is extended to the unbelievers as well.
Whatever is good...whatever is noble...think on these things. The very nature of God is revealed thru love, hope, faith, gentleness, kindness, etc etc. The very universe cries out God in heaven. He is who He is. |

Just a vote of confidence for my Christian friends on this site. When the voices of opposition seem so loud you can not hear yourself think:
Ps. 118:6 "The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?" Rev. 3:13 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." Phil. 2:10, 11 "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father." Rev. 20:15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Rev. 22:20 "Surely I come quickly" The only people who fear are those who have chosen to spit in His face despite the love the love he freely offers them. The only people who fear are those who would rather choose eternal flames than give up their selfishness and submit themselves to God. We, who are held tightly in His grace, fear not. For what..now.. can man do to us? |

So let me get this straight. If I don't drink the cool-aid of organized religions, I'm Godless?
I fear for the damnation to hell to those poor jungle living native tribes in the Brazilian rainforest, who have never had a chance to read the Bible or never even gone in contact with anyone else outside their tribes. Poor souls..they gonna burn in hell..perhaps they worship their own God..is it the same or that's just not right? |

For what..now.. can man do to us? I can quote passages from the bible too. . . Genesis 19:5 "Where are the men which came in the night? bring them them out unto us, that we may know them" and Judges 19:23-4 "Nay, my brethren, may I pray you you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house do not this folly. Behold, here is my daughter, a maiden, and his concubine, them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you; but unto this man do not so vile a thing" Gotta love a book were sodomy and rape is accepted, and women are nothing more than objects. . . So you will excuse me if I choose to not follow this book, and choose to find my "morality" elsewhere. |

Well that's what I say...and goodness tells me to worship what is good and nice. I don't need a doctrine, neither an instruction manual how to be good. |

Humanists, wow what bad evil people... Heaven forbid someone would want to cheer up those that many Christians dismiss and despise. Shame on them....
Could spoilsport also not apply to Christians when they make such a stink about other voices which should exist along side theirs in a country called America? The world does not revolve around Christians, last I saw. Irrational dopes? Hmmm Well if one assumes that with out God humans would prefer to eat their children, I'd say one hasn't been playing with a full deck. And where does this guy get off telling us who we can listen to, what books we can read, or author we can interview? Funny he should accuse humanists of spreading whatever or of making money. Christians would never be in that business, now would they.. Ever heard of Prop 8, take about pushing ones ideas over all else. Did ya'll not put up posters and billboards and every other manner of media to push your views? did that cost some money? So who is it that is obsessed? You've had hundreds of years to push your own agenda, it's time others show you that you are not alone on this planet. |
