Take a bunch of booze with you when you go. Everyone will be happy to see you. You're the second to mention something about alcohol. Since when does a family drink on Christmas morning? Lol. its christmas cheer!!!! Doesn't like a half gallon of egg nogg have the same alcohol content as 1 beer? I mean...ive been drinking it since I was like 10 and I'm not much into drinking. And it's never gotten me ne where near even buzzed before o.o You're drinking it straight? SHEESH.. Add some whisky or rum to it, and share the Christmas buzz.. Oh yeah.. The question at hand.. Since the invite didn't come from the homeowner, I would decline. Wow all these years I didn't realize it was a mixer? I may partake in some rum in mine this year who knows. But again, not a fan of drinking. And as for what this topic is about: There isn't much thinking you can do without talking to your neighbor like NJ Mom said. |

As for the alcohol, they don't drink and I definitely wont be drinking either. |

My neighbor and I are really good friends. We hang out when waiting for the school bus, my kids and their kids are always doing stuff together so we hang out then too, we just hang out a lot. Well the other day, her brother (who doesn't live there and who is happily married) invited me and my daughter to come over for Christmas. They have a lot of family that will be coming over throughout the day. The thing is, because it wasn't my neighbor that invited us personally, I don't know if we should go or not. I know we would be welcome, but do you think it would be right for me to show up, when the neighbor wasn't the one who made the invite? I've always felt uncomfortable around people on xmas. It seems to me that everyone wants to be sheltered in by themselves and family. Boring (-_-)zzz |

I buy all the time. Fake ID that actually works. Had it since I was 18. I don't drink all too much with or without it though. I go clubbing once in a blue moon works there too. But this is not what the topic is about. |
