ewwww, sorry, they're the most over-rated band ever, IMO
Well, aside from the Beatles and Nirvana |

My favorite ever is Led Zeppelin followed closely by AC/DC

Eagles

I don't know that I have a favorite band, it all depends on my mood.

I agree, you don't have to like the Beatles but to say they are overrated is not knowing or acknowledging the influence they had on so many artist and genres and that even 40 years later their music still has a fresh sound that even some new artist can't reach. |

for their impact on music and society I'd have to say the Beatles
best touring band would have to be the Dead |
|
|
|
The Rolling Stones...no other band can or will ever match their lyrics..." I watched with glee while the kings and queens fought for ten decades over the Gods they made "..." I shouted out who killed the Kennedy's well afterall it was you and me "..." I rode a tank held a generals rank...when the blitzkrieg raged and the bodies stank "

Not a big fan, but I do appreciate their ability iron maiden- Again not my thing. But can't ya come up with any better bands from the 80's? Talking Heads, The Pretenders, Elvis Costello and the Attractions, and U2 come to mind right off the bat. rush-Again I appreciate the talent, but I saw them live and they were the MOST BORING BAND I've ever seen... And that covers A LOT OF GROUND zztop-- They'd be great if they could only play... This was fun. Have any more? |
