I just wanted to update u all on Dans progress... This morning, i cant stop smiling cos his blood tests showed a slight improvement with his liver, and hes had a good nights sleep and feels a bit better, theres still a long road to recovery, but hopefully this is the start of that journey. Thanks to all who sent their best wishes, im sure its helped. P.s Special thanks to Andy who sent us a card! was lovely to receive it!

I will continue to pray for him... I lit a candle at Mass for him yesterday and said special prayers. Thank you Lisa for the update on his condition.

And you're more than welcome for the card! I spoke to Dan earlier again today. Glandular fever is just a cover story. I'm sorry to say that he has contracted a rare bacteria found normally in sheep. All sheep that he has had intercourse with over the past month are being contacted to bring them in for testing. Needless to say he's quite embarrassed by this so let's all stick with the "glandular fever" story

we're so glad to hear that dan is on the mend and out of the hospital. sorry we haven't commented earlier, but we've been really busy with each other (lisa, we've been wanting to give him a call, but i didn't bring my phone book with me. if you wanted to send me an email to my personal account with his phone number, we'll give him a shout - if you think he's up to it. we're just heading out for breakfast now, but we won't be out that long. oh, it's lisa posting by the way - i was too lazy to log out and log back in)
