Just wanted to ask ya all to spare a healing thought for Dan....he's really quite poorly, and seems to be getting worse each day instead of better, so hes staying at his mums as from today, hopefully she can help him get better quicker. (thank goodness he's being looked after!) He is supposed to be coming here on Christmas Eve, but if he doesnt improve, its not gonna happen, hence why im asking u all to send him ur thoughts. He will be seeing a doc tomorrow, so i will keep ya posted on his progression.. Thanks all! 
His mum n I have been trying to convince him t go to the hospital, but hes being stubborn and waiting to see doc! |

I hope he gets better soon! They just gave us our yearly flu vaccine a few weeks ago and while I haven't gotten the flu, I have gotten...*sniffs* Whoa...my sinuses aren't clogged anymore. Ok so I guess I'm not as sick as I was, but I had a cough that persisted for a couple weeks. Tis the season for sickness

Try having whooping cough for a few weeks then thinking you are getting better and end up in the ER with a severe case of bronchitis

Just a wee update....Dan isnt any better, he was sick thru the night last night, Ive just spoke to his mum, and they are awaiting a visit from the doctor. Thats now been nearly 2 weeks, and hes showing no signs of improvement.
Im actually quite worried, so pls, remember to send him ur healing thoughts. Thanks again. |

Well I do hope that Dan gets to feeling better soon. I actually had Phenomena & Bronchitis for a solid 3 months last year. I went to the doctors at least every other week while they keep switching my medications hoping to find something that would kick in and finally help get me well. Thought I would never get well have never been that sick before and it is not any fun for sure.
Sending only good thoughts and prayers hoping Dan gets to feeling better soon.

i've been fighting whooping cough and bronchitis for the last month and a half...i ended up in the ER saturday night. If you talk to Dan tell him to have the docs put him on prednisone and Promethazine w/ codeine syrup. It seems to be knocking this stuff out of me. It will give him rest too.

Hey all, thanks for all the kind words and thoughts.
Still not great but getting a bit better, though getting up to Edinburgh tomorrow is going to be pretty unlikely. If i dont make it i will book another flight for boxing day or the day after. I only started this thread for some joke sympathy! lol! But thank you all for the real stuff i got anyway! |
