I need to rant for a minute because all hell as broken loose, and i need to let off steam.

So the last two hours at work is covering the sidewalks at the airport with salt because its snowing, sleeting, and freezing rain everywhere. Which is ok except i'm wearing my chuck taylor's shoes, which is made of cloth. So my socks are wet, my feet are wet, but i get to go home.

So i hop in my car, warm it up for a few minutes, and off i go. When i got to a major road, a semi truck is fish tailing behind me so i pull into a parking lot and it pass while praying to God it doesn't hit me. So i wait a few minutes and off i go again. Theres two inches of snow on the road, and the snow plows haven't done anything yet so i'm driving carefully, slowly, and trying to stay in the right hand lane.

Then i get a flat tire. In the middle of all this wintery weather from hell, i get a flat tire. I don't know how or why, but its the third time i've had a flat in a month. So as i'm trying to raise the jack under my car, a policeman comes by with his patrol car and asked if i needed help. I said yes because the stupid jack kept popping out and flying out from under my car. After a few attempts the cop tells me to drive the car into a parking lot thats close by and leave it for the night and come back during the day, all the weather will have passed. So I left my car in a church parking lot, and the cop gave me a ride home. He is awesome.

So now i have to wake up early, get my Uncle to drive me to my car so i can throw the spare tire on, and drive it to the tire shop so i can yell at them because this tire didn't last more than a month.

Yeah, its a bad day

When you have finished ranting try to think of people that are worse off than you, perhaps you will feel better.
I do understand your feelings though, it's like in the old saying: When it rains it pours.

But it will pass

I can't be mad about this at all, because i was lucky to have the cop driving by when he did, lucky to have warm over-alls the whole night at work, and lucky to make it home.

Its almost like a really crappy comedy movie. I just had to rant about it tho

3 FLATS in a month??? same tire???? or do you just like to drive on nails????

Time to break open the piggy bank and buy a new tire!!!

No matter how good we have it overall compared to other people...when a bad day happens, it's hard not to feel completely overwhelmed.

I'm sorry you had a bad day...hang in there...it will pass. I'm just glad you made it home safe and sound and had a place to go vent (it helps!)

I am sorry that you had a bad day BUT you can always turn this into a positive situation.
For example...Be thankful that you have a job for your feet to get wet and cold, plus you are healthy enough to work. You have a car to drive to have a flat tire to fix. You have a home to go to that hasn't been foreclosed on by the bank due to loosing your job.
I know that some days we feel that nothing is going right for us, but always remember that there is someone else that has it a lot harder then we do. I hope today is so much better for you
