you are very clear in the profile, maybe some people simply forgot how to read? Maybe they are hoping you'll change your mind? Maybe they have been banging their heads against brick walls and have given up on fulfilling more than physical desires...I don't know I'm just musing here |

I don't know if it's different for " men "....but it sure is different for me.
About the only time I get emails is when I email someone, or when I say something in the forums that someone feels the need to respond to. Other than that...I have gone weeks at a time without getting a single email. |

A lot of guys on here are probably here just to get laid, and they dont even bother to read the disclaimers on the girls profiles.
It kinda ruins it for us nice guys who are here for serious dating or relationships. |

Rarely do they read anything. Most of the time, it is easy to just delete and ignore. One or two might get a reply. But in one day, every single one was stupid and somewhat offensive. |

In one way, it is sad that you receive obnoxious emails.
It's actually more of a relief not to receive emails, rather than to be disappointed.

Isn't that kind of self-defeating, though? As a guy I wouldn't even consider approaching a profile which had no pictures of the woman it represented whatsoever. Besides, it is much easier and more satisfying to delete a bunch of crap than to sit around waiting for nothing. Maybe you've already missed on a guy who would be perfect for you. |
