Well, you should read my profile, and then get back to me as to how I did.
BTW...I can actually TYPE! |

You know what irks the ever-lovin' h*ll outta me? People who send me an email on here telling me how much they like my profile...then tell me to check out theirs...only to find one or two sentences that tell me NOTHING about them. Seriously folks...if you know yourself AT ALL you should be able to write a paragraph or two that tells people a little bit about you so we have something to go on in the begining. GEEZ...I, for one, am not going to sit and interview someone...feeding them quetions to answer so that I can find out a few miniscule things about them to see if there's a snowball's chance of the two of us "clicking". And recently, when I told someone this...they told me I was full of "drama and head-games". UGH! Whew...I feel better now... I agree, its a total waste of time. I love it also when they say to view their profile but then deactivate it. Umm..duh! |

It irks me when they don't have a clear picture of themselves. A face shot at least. I'd like to know who I'm emailing back. All the fun pics are great, don't get me wrong, but it's nice to see who has emailed me.

Just helps with the "weeding out" process, IMO...no info/no interest.

For some people, typing the word "ask" is supposed to be a legit substitute for writing in detail about oneself...yeah right...of course, if I do ask, none of them ever respond...kind of defeats the purpose of your one word profile, doesn't it? You could have at least taken the effort to type, "Ask, but only if you're 6'5" and built like a professional wrestler." |

I just love this line... "Those who know me already know"... WTF kind of chit is that??? And to that I say... "And those of us who dont... dont give a chit!". Most of the profiles I've seen -- on pretty much every site I've ever been on -- convey the distinct impression that the person is not only not looking for anybody, but is, in fact, doing their best to DISSUADE people from contacting them. And that's probably not their intention at all, but the command of the language is either so poor or so sparse that it's what comes across. |

Make sure you have about 3 hours and a snack if you're going to read Mirror's profile. Of course, with a face like, who needs a profile. |
