You seem to be asking yourself some really tough questions trying to discover who you are.

The reality is that none of us can tell you what will make you feel comfortable. If you have been in a strongly religious upbringing I can see why you would feel so confused. Many people have chosen early on in their lives which side of the fence they choose to walk on.

I never felt comfortable with the idea of being a homosexual myself or even experimenting. Personally seeing another guy's hairy ass gives me the creeps. That does not mean I fear people that are Homo. I have friends that are and it is not a good reason to kill a perfectly good friendship. Whatever floats your boat. I made my lifestyle choice a LONG time ago. What is right for me colors the lines I will and will not cross with another.

In asking yourself where you choose to go you need to be sure of yourself because experimenting and "getting your fingers burned" emotionally which will essentially leave you a messed up basket case requiring tons of therapy and make a religious nut out of you.

You got to address what you would be willing to do and with whom because many Homosexual men are monogamous while others are "get what you can!" Sex is like a Genie, once you let it out of the lamp it will never want to go back in. If you choose an alternate lifestyle be it Bisexuality or Homosexuality you better be ready to wear the social label too. People of certain religious persuasions will not take too well to a person of an alternate lifestyle no matter how nice of a person you are.

There is a lot to sex many people fear and to give a blanket one line answer is impossible. It is different things to different people. You have a lot of self discovery to go through in making your decisions. Really you can't learn to swim if you don't get wet. Just Choose your teachers carefully.
