I can say that as a man I have NEVER stood a woman up. I can not understand a man doing it either unless there is a death in the family or other emergency, and even then I would call to let you know why I was not picking you up. It is just disrespectful to do other wise. |

I'm really sorry to hear that. Not everyone is that way, unfortunately some are and you just happened to run across one of them. But on the bright side I suppose, the argument could be made it is better to find out now than later. If he was this discourteous and rude now, imagine the time that could have been lost. It sucks and it hurts, but you can move on to bigger and much better things. Just my thoughts.

I have been stood up before but and although I get mad I try not to jump to conclusions right away because there are sometimes where people really do have something bad happen to them. Here is a good way to find out if they really stood you up.
Call him the next day and say you were sorry for standing him up.Say you really wanted to meet him but you had a emergency and couldn't make it.If he says something like "yeah I was there and waited a half hour and you didn't show up",you know he is a liar and you should never talk to him again. If he says "I couldn't make it either"(for what ever reason)then at least he is telling you the truth. It's up to you if you want to make a second date. |

Yes, I am jaded and since i have been suspended, i have learned a few things!!!!
Some, underline men juggle women and there dating schedules to go to whom ever they believe will give it up, give them some, hand over the snatch that particular evening. She could be missing all her teeth, well that might be a good thing for.... I digress you catch my drift. |

stand women up?!?! I mean I spent time getting dolled up for nothing! I feel like a fool. I mean did he even think of the rejection it would cause me? That hurt and you call yourself a Christian. Lose my number! Was this a man you met on an internet site? (no need to say which one) That would explain the behavior to some degree. There might have been some "embellishment" of his physical stature and he was afraid for you to see him as he really was. Christian doesn't have anything to do with it. There are plenty of Christians in prison. It is the person's moral character which is somewhat ingrained and intuitive. |

Lose my number! I've gone to great extent to insure a date happens, would do it again...some are just lazy and daft and otherwise should be left in the woods. Though as you said, it is just some. |
