You got to weed out another loser without wasting too much time and effort. AND You didn't have to kiss him at the end of the date. 
Which is worse? Getting stood-up? or Going on date, and its a bust? |

I can say that as a man I have NEVER stood a woman up. I can not understand a man doing it either unless there is a death in the family or other emergency, and even then I would call to let you know why I was not picking you up. It is just disrespectful to do other wise.

Could have been second thought's. I've been guilty of this a few time's. What can I say? I got cold feet!!!!!!!! I was just chicken to go out with somebody that I didn't know. I am sorry there is never a reason to do that to somebody. To me it is cruel and heartless. To the OP, I am sorry that this happened to you. Just think one persons lost means an even better persons gain. |

stand women up?!?! I mean I spent time getting dolled up for nothing! I feel like a fool. I mean did he even think of the rejection it would cause me? That hurt and you call yourself a Christian. Lose my number! I am sorry that this happened to you. Even if it was an emergency situation a courtesy call would of been in order. You are beautiful inside and out and deserve better. Because we are both Christians I will share the scripture that came to mind when I read your post: Proverbs 16:33 (Amp) The lot is cast into the lap, but the decision is wholly of the Lord [even the events that seem accidental are really ordered by Him]. He's a jerk and thank God you didn't waste time finding it out later.

At least have the courtesy to sit through that date if you managed to go this far,if you really don't like her, thank her for the date and move on.
