yea well my mom's family and very deeply religious, and all they've ever told me is if I don't act and believe the same way they do, straight to hell I go.

shouldn't unconditionally mean no matter what religion I follow? Or whether or not I repent for my sins? Are there conditions to this unconditonal love he has for me?

do you want to spend eternity with someone you don't love,,,,,God loves you,,,he does not require you to love him. If you love love someone you will be there for them,,,how can you be there if you don't love him. The way you show God that you love him is buy trying to live for him. He is not going to force you to love him. You do have free will. It is your choice. But you do not have to worry about this hell idea if you are saved by the grace of God. If you ever asked him into your life, he is still there. Just let him be in control instead of other things. And smile a little for him
