I have a very small apartment so we have a fake miniature tree. I prefer real ones though.

I prefer a real tree. However, my cats can't seem to leave any tree alone. Have bought small ones and then planted them outside.

In the 20 years I had my cat, never once did she ever bother a Christmas tree. She'd just sniff it a little bit, close her eyes and give one of those 'disgusted' little snorts, and walk away. She did like to curl up underneath it, though. I think she liked the pretty lights and the decorations. My cat never bothered my tree either. I don't think that she even noticed it. |

papersmile and I were on the Woodward Ranch down by Big Bend. They have a cool little rock shop where we bought some nice agates on the way into the rock shop the owner was pointing out these giant pine trees lining the back of the yard He said, "That was our Christmas tree in 85. And that one was 86, and that one was 87..." I kinda like the idea of plantable Christmas trees That is a great idea. |

I use an artificial Christmas tree. Do you use an artificial Christmas tree? Or Do you use a real tree? Edit: When do you put the tree up and when do you take it down? I'm putting my tree up this weekend. I'll be taking it down after New Year's. Mirror, Why don't you put it on here? I think I'm going to put mine on here. |

Nothing says Christmas like a real tree.

We had one cat that climbed the tree right after it was decorated. She never did that again.
Two of the cats would not bother the tree. The other one...well let's just say if he can get into it, hit it, play with it, or doing anything to it he will. He seems to like things that make noise. |

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging; O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy leaves are so unchanging; Not only green when summer's here, But also when 'tis cold and drear. O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy leaves are so unchanging! O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Much pleasure thou can'st give me; O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Much pleasure thou can'st give me; How often has the Christmas tree Afforded me the greatest glee! O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Much pleasure thou can'st give me. O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy candles shine so brightly! O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy candles shine so brightly! From base to summit, gay and bright, There's only splendor for the sight. O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy candles shine so brightly! O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! How richly God has decked thee! O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! How richly God has decked thee! Thou bidst us true and faithful be, And trust in God unchangingly. O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! How richly God has decked thee! !" |

Okay.
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum! Du kannst mir sehr gefallen! O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum! Dein Kleid will mich was lehren: Die Hoffnung und Beständigkeit Gibt Trost und Kraft zu jeder Zeit. O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum! Das soll dein Kleid mich lehren. |

I just got my tree this morning. It is a 7foot Live tree and it is beautiful!
I will be decorating it with my family tommorow evening. I have also already put up 2 other theme trees in the house that are artificial. One is a silver tree all decorated in pink and the other is a 4 foot tall minature tree decorated with a University Of Kentucky football theme. I always take the tree and all decorations down the day after Christmas because I get tired of looking at it all. |

I like the real ones, but i don't put them up anymore. My mom has a nice artificial tree.
When i was a kid..and that's been a while..my great grandma had a tinsel tree..it was silver, there was a color projector that made the tree change colors...like i said...i'm a dinosaur. |

I used to allways get a real tree, then I got married and my now ex refused to have a real one, still trying to figure out how I ended up with the fake tree so I just use it now. Think this will be the last year for it then back to the real thing.
I will be putting it up tomorrow with my girls and take it down a week or two after new years |
