Hot tea, earl grey, touch of cream and 1 sugar. haha, you're REALLY close. how'd you do that? cream only goes in coffee; tea requires milk! |

Absolutely! The occasional compliment is nice. So is the favourite flower thing, even if you picked it from a field.

there's sweet romantic and then there's corny romantic. i've never really been into the candelit dinners, or rose petals on the bed type of stuff. give me a guy that remembers how i take my tea and i'm his. Yeh, i love romance, but i guess it depends wat ur idea of romance is......i know that i find it romantic if a guy shows me his feelings, or puts into his own words wat he feels for me, even a text can be romantic if its sincere and random, just cos they have thought of u and shared it.... |

girls love romance
but if you're the wrong guy for the girl the romantic stuff is just annoying If you are just getting to know the girl and you shower her with roses and teddy bears you're just gonna creep her out |

I think many men fail at romance because they don't understand what they're doing. They think bringing a woman a flower is romance, when really, its just a nice gesture. Romance isn't about an individual act, its about the emotions between the couple that brings about the act. I find romance in things that a lot of people probably wouldn't.
The way I see it, women don't want you to bring them a flower because you think you should be "romantic" to keep her. A woman wants you to bring her a flower because she inspires you to want to bring her a flower. And, the trouble for many men is they can tell the difference.... ;-) Being that I'm not a woman, take what I have to say with a grain of salt. |

there is a whole language to this romance thing..I aim to understand it.
holding hands, picnics, poetry, porch swings, romantic gestures that are random and wonderful, etc etc etc, making out in a store, playing footsie, showers, hot romantic bubble baths in the candelight and with soft music. i like lotsa ROMANCE! |

One must be in tune with what the other thinks is romantic. For me, I find it very romantic when a man does something for me that I hate doing (take the car for service)... to me that says he understands me.
