As most i believe that there is nothing new about new age, it is a dredging up of the past. I feel our whole existence is that way, one of circular events coming to light then disappearing for awhile only to be resurrected some time later on.

So can anybody show me over these many centuries of mans existence, what good this has done? what have we learned? does technology or industry show how we have progressed? are we not at our core the same as we have always been? has our thinking of good and evil/right or wrong - changed to make us better than we were at the beginning?

Or are we forever caught in this circular existence to repeat these same things over and over ad infinitum?? Why - whats the point? what is the purpose of doing so? what is it we are supposed to finally achieve if anything?

It is the pendulum swinging ... it is the journey ... it is only by going too far that we know how far we can go ... and then the pendulum swings back the other way ...

We live in a world of duality so we must experience both ... and perhaps with each swinging, we get a little closer to who we really are.

As for technology ... I think it has done some wonderful things ... we have more time to experience life and contemplate ... we have access to people and information like never before ...

...and like all things in a dualistic existence, we have the shadow side of technology used for destruction and oppression ...

Are we advancing ... when we stop looking outside of ourselves for answers which come from within ourselves then perhaps we will find harmony ...

What's the point? Cuz we can!

Hmmmmm I don't see circular.... only when looking down from above.... what I see is a spiralling upwards... it feels we are returning to the same place.... but no... it is around and above where we have already been...

that's learning, that's growing, that's expanding....I see spirals where others see circles.

Spirals?? hmmm?

spirals are just circles attached together - like the slinkey toy - bigsmile

when you reach the top circle you can [if you desire] turn it over and the top circle becomes the bottom one. you have gained nothing but a continous cycle my lady, mankind remains inwordly the same. flowerforyou

we may find harmony with ourselves singularly, but not as a whole. mans morality for lack of a better word has not changed since the beginning of recorded history and i doubt before. if harmony is individual or only for a modest amount of mankind - what good will be gained by all?
we have seen such throughout history have we not? yet over-all we remain the same core humanity we have always been, you speak from an idealistic point of view - one i wish were true in life, but as you can see and read is not, for those of us that may see what you say, i agree - but it does not change the rest of mankind. unfortunately.
