Stop whining!!

When u own public places, u can whine, but unfortunately u have to share this big ole world with other men, women, kids and even animals.

I always see the funny side of whining kids, and it makes me smile! maybe u should try get in touch with ur inner child and try understand them better.

BUT IM A MAN, DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids are like adults, but on a lesser self-controlled level. They have bad days where small things annoy them or they feel cheated or something someone said was taken the wrong way. They just need instruction on how to handle it all.

So, Changed.. Calm down.. Count to ten and if you don't like what Jimmy's doing, go over there to lane 15 near Sally. She's making cute faces.

'cause they can't leave 'em alone at home.

Here in Houston, we have daycares that specialize on that, and they charge by the hour (kind of a babysitter). the facilities are very nice and they have rooms with activities for different ages.

I'm thinking you're not a parent, much less a single one (as most of the parents on here are). If you were, you would understand that sitters cost money, often way more than we can afford. As I said before, not taking our kids is not an option for many, if not most, people.

I'm sorry they bug you. Most parents do the best they can to keep their kids from being whiny and annoying, especially in public. But kids will be kids and sometimes there are things we HAVE to get done, regardless of our kids moods.

Maybe you should try to do your shopping at times when most kids are at school?

I think what changeofheart was trying to convey is that children that do not behave are annoying. Which I agree with him; there is nothing wrong going shopping during this caotic, busy, headspinner Holiday time with one'skids as long as one is respectful of others and teach our kids to behave while in public.
If some of us have brats as kids, is not the responsibility of others to put up with that.

Just a thought.... go shopping while these kids are in school or later, when they are in bed.

It's like traffic or lines.... you can't change it and bytching isn't going to do anything but show your bytchiness.

Have a wonderful holiday season.

I don't mind kids in public. They are kinda cool and sweet

I do mind people that let their kids run wild and don't keep some kind of control over em

When I'm around those kids I like to jump out from behind the corner and yell "RAWWWWR" then those kids run back to their parent and stick pretty close to em

Oh man, I wish someone would do that to mine once in a while, just cause it'd be funny laugh

Ever done the tantrum thing to them?

Yes, it is. It's not fair, but no one said life was fair.

It's also our responsibility, not to just put up with it, but to help raise these brats.

It takes a village. Geesh.

laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh Good point!!!!!

I don't mind kids very much pretty much ANYWHERE, but I don't appreciate people taking them along to fancy restaurants where quiet should be part of the menu. And, I don't really have issues with the crying babies. I take more issue when lazy uncaring people let them run wild and get in everyone's faces, acting poorly.

Honestly, until I had kids, I really had very little interest in them.

No is not. YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT THAT. While my kids were growing up, they were thought how to behave in public. They were MY CHILDREN, NOT ANYONE ELSE's.

They are the parents respnsibility ONLY; we did not have a choice in creating these children; therefore, we have no responsibility whatsoever on how they should be raised. how can you make such a statement?

Perhaps you should try shopping online from the comfort of your own home if you're annoyed that much by other people's kids.

Perhaps the abstraction of my analogy was lost on you here? This isn't a right or wrong thing, this is a perspective and my opinion.

You've never heard the phrase it takes a village to raise a child?

Yes, but it does not mean you take that expression literally.

To be honest, i get more frustrated watching how some parents deal with their children! the parents anger me way more than the kids!
