They don't come here to destroy our way of life. They come here for opportunities they don't have where they are. You know our country started with immigrants all wanting to have a better life. Whats the difference? We know they will get into the country one way or another. Why try to fight a losing battle? We should go ahead and make the process to come here easy and get them on record to make them accountable for their actions in society.

Maybe you should actually listen to someone or occasionally read what members of your beloved republican party have to say now and then? Oh...like say Geo "Shrub" Bush who has been blowing smoke up the butts of everyone on this issue. It might be slightly more confusing than the drivel served up on FOX but should you take the time to do so you will find that there are plenty of republicans that say one thing and do the other on immigration. It's all about pandering for the vote. Bush and the republicans got pretty damned quiet on the subject when they saw that they would need the Hispanic vote. Funny stuff... |

We should go ahead and make the process to come here easy and get them on record to make them accountable for their actions in society. sure they do. and there is a process in place to accomodate them the problem is in the numbers. we can't just absorb 12 million people who are apart from the system like that anyway it's a moot point. the economy is so bad they are going home in droves |

that's the problem. they've turned it into a partisan us against them issue and meanwhile Texas is inundated with millons of people who aren't here legally and flooding the schools and hospitals and social services and sucking up millions of tax dollars the Federales are escorting drug shipments into the United States and attacking the Border Patrol with military weapons and tactics kidnapping was a big business in Mexico and now they are crossing the border to kidnap Americans and the politicians try to play it off as a liberal/conservative issue |
