I'm new and I was wondering if forum posting is mostly just for fun or if you think it really helps in meeting guys or girls? Do forum posting people really meet up with other forum posting people?
yes we do. i've met a couple dozen people from another site of which i was a member. many of those folk are also posting here now as well. i also met my boyfriend from that same site. however, it isn't only a mechanism for finding the opposite sex. i've developed friendships and met some wonderful ladies as well, two of which i consider to be life-long friends (i'm gonna go and dig up a photo of the three of us and post it to my scrapbook). there's also two women with whom i've just recently started talking and i hope to meet up with them in the next while. (ohio isn't that far of a drive from me) |
