Work will get busy for me, it's either feast or famine it seems. "Feast" starts this month. So, I can't be here as often. Am I the only one having trouble with this site?
Awwwwwwww, don't y'all start that stuff. I'll check in from time 2 time. It just won't be like it has been. I've been trying really hard to find that "shurgar daddy", but no such luck so I have to work! It's so hard for me just to run in and say "hello" and not play for like hours! I'll have everyone getting huge refunds on their tax returns then will have to answer IRS letters for the rest of my life!

Thank you Bonny and yes, I've had enough turkey. I told Fran this a.m., I heard on radio that the average american, (don't know about you brits  ) gains 8 1/2 lbs over the holidays. I got my 8 already!

I figure they are and I'd have so many restrictions on the relationship that it wouldn't last for long, like he couldn't ask me for anything, just pamper me and pay my bills and then let me do whatever I want, whenever I want. Dayumn, maybe that's why I'm not in any kind of relationship!

Yes Ruth it is! I didn't learn the first time, so tried again, then 3rd time I just lived with him, but that didn't work either. Until I stopped my own circle of choosing men who would carry on with the abuse, no relationship was ever going to work. At least now I know better and I'd chose being on my own over and over and over if that's what it takes to stay out of those situations. I'm sorry you...or anyone else has to ever know what it feels like. I've tried so hard to understand people's behaviors, even my own, the best thing I can do for myself is to learn who I AM and educate myself. |

Yes, guess that's why I didn't do it a 3rd time. It was either 3x is charm or 3 strikes you're out. I knew that the 3rd one wasn't going to work, deep down inside, I just ignored all the signs. I'm just glad I didn't marry him. Then I had to examine my ownself as to why I was choosing the type men I was choosing. If I'm truthful, every one of them had pretty much the same personalities so I should have known better. Just one of those repeated patterns I learned from childhood. Thank God we can learn better if we so choose. |
