Topic: When you breed with an a$$ | |

I'm just trying to put it in the most positive light so I can live with my decision... it seems to work for me so I thought I'd share it.

So 5 yrs for my boy- and 4 yrs for my daughter, my recently ex never wanted to put any effort into raising our kids- slept in til noon only to wake up and make them nap til 4 then put them to bed at 8. Causing endless friction between us. My boy at 2 yrs old used to bring his sister food from the fridge cuz she was stuck in the crib. Luckily I live where I work so I could check in on them constantly. Nowadays the kids and I have an amazing bond, enter or separation. Now she wants to be a mom and control the time I have with them. How much do I really fight? I truly want her to step up- its what they need. Buti hate how she act like all the past don't mean nothin now. Like I'm just supposed to believe she wanna and can do it now!!! Its the why she gotta be the mother of my kids?!?!

I was a kid of a single mother (along with a brother and sister) and I have never met my father, my mother never talked about him. I did look him up though, found out he only lived a few blocks away in the same town I grew up. I knew that I could never do that to my son, I am an *** sometimes but when it comes to my son I am a dad. The marriage thing did not work out but the parenting thing is something there is no option to give up on. It is part of life...if any of this rambling makes sense...lol

I am so grateful for my girls. My children are my life. It just hurts so much when he hurts them. My ex is a major asz, a pain in the asz, need to be screwed in the asz, gets monitored visits, which he insists on having and then half the time doesnt bother honoring--but threatens to call the cops on me if i try and cancel visit for a LEGIT reason. Worse, i see some personality traits in one of my children which rubs me the wrong way cuz its so much of his father whom I DESPISE(if you hadn't noticed-LOL) I have to really try and re-train my children from the error of their fathers ways----and hope for the best. They learn with age and hopefully they will learn to act the opposite of their bad parent and be able to rise above it when they too one day choose parenthood. |

My kids have not heard a word for 12 years from their dad...he moved overseas never to be seen or heard from again.
He did all of us a huge favour, in that I could parent the four of them, in a gentle, non-violent, loving and supporting way, without any negative imput from him. Two are 26 and 22 now, and are amazing kind, gentle loving adults in their own right, and the younger two, 16 and 14 are remarkable people...all of them are close, supporting, loving, generous thoughtful people... Life would have looked very different for all of us, if we had remained a two parent family...everything happens exactly as it is supposed to, and I for one, feel incredibly blessed for these children, for the life we have, and that the very best attributes of their father is inherant within the children. |
