an appropriate interest to be listing on a dating website? I was looking over some profiles from a different site (but I have seen is here before) and seen 'sex' listed as an interest. To me that flag a jerk, but do you think its appropriate to list?

under an interest, i would say be careful there. but to talk about it like in the forums, i see no problem there.

Its really just a turnoff for me- same as the shirtless picture some have on their profiles

Well I would hope it would be everyones interest of some sort. But having to list it could be a few different things to me. Either they never get it or they are very obbsessed with it.

On the profile, interests are the first things I look at. If one of the interests is sex, goodbye!

my comment would be listing SEX as an interest, denotes u as a fiend of some kind.

now just imagine, and u can go to my site, and c what it would look like if me, an groovey old grannie, listed SEX as one of her interests.

i would be thought of as looney, dangerous, and down right fun for providing some wrinkled old junk action, no worry about birth control. well u might have to worry about catching crabs or something of that nature.
but no little surprises that you could be nailed for child support with.

all the cops on this site, would be on my tail as i type.
now if they listed SEX, it would be to catch the hookers, take their money, and whatever else they could snag, and off on a vacation they go.

Yeah, if I see "sex" listed as an interest I don't bother looking at the profile any further cause I know they are just looking for a "booty call"

"booty calls" are fun when you're in your 20's but by 40-something "over it"

For those who don't know....
Its functions are very closely tied to sex and reproduction. In males it can facilitate erection. It is released during orgasm. The chemical stimulates numbness from pain and creates warm, fuzzy feelings of trust and intimacy... who DOESN'T like THAT FEELING... ha ha
