Is anyone enjoying the new game Fable 2? What are your thoughts on this game?

I just bought it and refraining until this weekend to play it. Just incase it gets addictive.

man I am living in that game right now. Tons of fun, I brought and xbox this week just so I can play it. Very good sequel.

DEFINITELY a good idea to hold out, due to the fact this game is almost as addictive as WoW.

Jesus all I can say about this game, without writing two pages, is that it is definitely worth the buy and every choice you make will have an effect on just about anything and everything.

I thought that was hilarious. Probably one of the first games to do that also.

Soon there will be games so realistic that you don't know how to get out of them anymore.

Yeah I stay away from WoW for I know I wouldn't do anything else. I have the games where you play alone and that was addictive for a long time.


They are probably the biggest online game in the world. How many millions have joined? I think as much as England has for its population.

The first thing I will do is eat a whole bunch of pies and get fat in that game. just joking

I still have Assassin's Creed packed up. Never even opened it. I bet that one can be addictive to. I know the graphics are awesome so I had to get it.

level 72!!! Now that is high! I mean what chance does a player have when they just start the game at level 1. None!!

I'd have to agree.

I played for 6 months leisurely but steadily and got to level 40 and called it quits.

Fable 2 is the best game in my 38-game inventory.

Why? Where do I even begin?

First off, I have to congratulate the developers for really letting me be as evil as I can be. Literally, I can slaughter a whole town, and just choose "community service" whenever the guards come and get me. As soon as I do this, the guards will leave me alone. Then, rather than doing my time like a boy scout, I can commit more crimes.

Some of the things you can do in the Temple of Shadows are nasty.

One thing I didn't like about Fable 1 was that you had to play for hours before the physical look of your character was fleshed out. In Fable 2, you should have enough money to buy whatever clothing, hairstyle, tattoos and dye to get that right look the first time you enter a major town or city.

The magic system ROCKS! Blending magic with sword and gunplay gives combat a unparalleled cinematic feel.

Having the option to play as a guy or a girl is a nice touch.

I really love the main campaign. Unfortunately, I don't have Live (yet) so I haven't been able to unlock the bonus content.

The expressions are BIG fun!

Having a dog is helpful. There are times, however, when I wish there was a "kick dog" expression, just because I'm so evil.

Fortune's Tower is addicting. I have on occasion played that for 4-5 hours straight.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go cast lightning on some villagers.

That was a great write on Fable. I am sure the developers would have loved to see this compliment you gave. Okay I am going to go kick chickens now.

He don't look like no chicken chaser to me, but then I never saw one before.

Lionhead Studios announced that there will be some downloadable content coming out early December. It'll add some new items and weapons and a new island. It'll cost you a good 800 MS points for it though, so I think I'll hold off on that til the price drops a bit.
