Even when I was living on my own and I had a car and a job and money, I was still getting rejected. So, somehow I don't think that that's the reason....

And most of the Resident Evil Series have a lead female role. There's only 2 really. Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield. Resident Evil 4 has some girl in it. And Resident Evil 5 has some other new girl. |

I used to work at Lowe's and the whole me moving thing just sorta happened so I didn't have time to even put in for a transfer and then I've applied over and over again and nothing. I got one or two interviews, but after that, nothing.
And I can't really borrow money, because they too, have cut me off.:/ |

That sounds like an excuse to me... Now it's all becoming a little more clear. You have no job. You live with your parents and you are 21. You sit at home all day and watch TV & play video games. You're showing no ambition. Last I checked, you don't need a degree to work at McDonalds or fast food of any kind. There's many jobs that you don't need a degree for. I don't have a degree either but I have a good job... because I worked my azz off for it. If you REALLY wanted to go to Church and be the Christian you claim that you are, you would find a way to get it done. I'm thinking the fact that you're a self proclaimed geek/ nerd really isn't the reason you can't get a girl to out with you. Not trying to offend you, just speaking the truth here based on what you've said. Let me say this. At one point I had a car, I had a good paying job, I had everything I wanted and then I started hanging with the wrong crowd and formed an addiction and the only way I could break that addiction would be to get away from it. I have a very addictive personality and when I get hooked on something, it's hard to stop. So, yeah. Don't ever say anything about me. Don't ever judge me, unless you know what you're talking about. |

I've tried for jobs, but the way the economy is going right now, every place that doesn't require some form of College degree isn't hiring. McDonald's isn't hiring? I've done fast food... never again. |

Well, if you mean the church that I want to go to? There was like 2 girls there that I talked to when I went there for the short while I was there, but both of them both have boyfriends.

Ummmmmmm. What about people who go to the church anyway? Why not go with them. And think before you readily offer up the excuse that no one who goes there lives by your house, okay? Which church? the one I go to, or the one I want to go to? |

Bus? Train? Friends? Tell your parents what Church you want to go to. Do you have a job??? I was going to that church for a while, but my dad is the most impatient person ever and doesn't wanna sit around for two hours doing nothing. I've tried for jobs, but the way the economy is going right now, every place that doesn't require some form of College degree isn't hiring. And SOCOM is a game. |

If you've asked that many girls out and they've all declined than you are asking the wrong type of girls. Though it may be hard for you to meet girls interested in what you are, you only have 2 viable options. 1... you can try new things, try to be a lil more outgoing and spend a little less time at home in front of the TV. You can't really expect any woman to have ALL of the same interests that you do. Or 2... you can keep doing what you're doing and keep getting declined. I'm not suggesting you change your personality or your likes / dislikes. Don't change who you really are. Just be more open minded. You really need to meet a girl that is interested in video games and prime time TV. Just keep looking. It goes beyond then just trying to find someone that has my same interests. Let's just say I'm not like every other guy my age. I refuse to drink and go out partying. I refuse to have pre-marital sex, and more often than not girls my age are looking for the party type of guy that wants to have also not just a emotional relationship, but a sexual relationship as well. That's the problem... I don't have a car right now, so I have my parents dragging me around everywhere so, I can't really go to the church that I want to go to. There's a church with like 50+ girls my age, but it's 30 minutes away. The church that I do go to with my parents consists of no girls my age. The closest age to me is 15 and that's a red flag... |

Okay, Call of Duty then.... The only girls I've ever come across playing CoD are girlfriends or wives of the people I'm playing with. |

the problem is that if there is a girl who's main interests are video games and TV... the chances of you meeting here is slim to none since she'll be at home watching TV and playing video games Maybe they could meet on Wow? Except I don't play WoW anymore. |

No, I labeled myself a geek. When I said the thing about being told by female friends, I meant the part that said girls not wanting to go out with me cause it'll ruin their image.
And yes, the geeks from Big Bang Theory fall into that category. I don't have the whole "I'm a nerd so no girl will date me." It's the fact that I've asked a dozen of girls and none of them want to date me. And the thing is, there really aren't that many girls that are even interested in my interests. I'm interested in some nerdy things that go beyond just normal nerdness, so trying to find a girl that is interested in that is just hard. I was just wondering cause I know some girls are like "Oh I only go out with the Bad Boy type, and things such as that." I was just trying to find the general consensus of this forum. And spider, how are we a threat to your life? |

It seems to me like there's this huge boost for girls thinking that geeky and nerdy guys are "awesome" and "cool", but yet when a nerd or a geek asks them out, they fail to say "yes" because as far as I can tell, they don't want to 'ruin their image' or so I've been told by a couple of my female friends.
So now, the question is... Would you date them or even marry them? |

Mine is just something that a friend helped me think up. I was trying to figure out a name that didn't correspond with anything and my friend is good at making names that are original and he goes "What do you think about 'Zenth Forbias'?" I go "Love it."

Cyber-Bullying
|
|
Bullying is UNACCEPTABLE whether it be cyber or reallife. Look at Columbine. That actually took place because of jock bullying of those perpetrators. It doesn't justify the horrific crime they committed (not in the least bit!) but just think if the jocks had never bullyed them. Kindness should be a way of life. Period. Those two weren't bullied. It might have been part of that, but it wasn't the main reason. They planned on doing it either way. They actually did something on Law and Order similar to the Meier death. They combined that story and the story about those high school freshmen who had a pregnancy pact or whatever. It was quite interesting. Anywho, Internet bullying is out there and it will always be out there. The internet is too big of a place to police, plus the fact of laws being completely different in other nations and such, the only way you can know who you can arrest is by checking their I.P. address. |

If you think about it. Every program is free for the most part.
Well, for me they are. Go ahead and pay for programs that are way too overpriced. I have AVG Pro 8 and didn't pay a dime for it. |
