And so it goes...

The republicans are in a regroup mode. Trying to figure out what direction to take the party.

Comments like these are being floated as the party tries to see what works.

So, what do those of you who voted for McCain think about this?

South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint on Friday became one of the first high-profile Republicans to publicly criticize John McCain following his electoral defeat, blaming the Arizona senator for betraying conservative principles in his quest for the White House.

The conservative senator, speaking to a group of GOP officials gathered in Myrtle Beach at a conference on the future of the Republican Party, described how the party had strayed from its own "brand," which, according to DeMint, should represent freedom, religious-based values and limited government.

"We have to be honest, and there's a lot of blame to go around, but I have to mention George Bush, and I have to mention Ted Stevens, and I'm afraid I even have to mention John McCain," he said.

John McCain didnt lose this race, The Republican Party did! They lost the true conservaties of their party. When they had a Republican congress and President, when they should have been pushing their party values, they went against what the party stands for. I think the time is perfect for a third party to step forward and establish they're control.

Yep. I'd consider a serious third party candidate. But then again, I'd consider a true fiscal conservative, regardless of party.

Old news for those of us who have been battling corruption and neocons within the Republican Party since God-knows how long. The American wing of the Republican Party will soon be purging these globalists from within the ranks, particularly the elites.
