Topic: Sending a Message to a Random Person | |
---|---|
It is not a nice thing to send someone you dont know a message just to say Hello?....
What if thats all the person wanted to do, say Hello, and not talk to them after that.. |
|

|
I tried sending out a few random e-mails to local people when I first signed up....that was a waste of time!
Sometimes I think about doing it now, but I never do.... |

There are people that look at my profile....and Its tempting to send a message and ask themcertain questions...but I only did that once...and it wasnt very interesting..

This should be a new mingle feature. Random email. You write an email to a random woman (or member of the opposite sex) and mingle sends it someone that vaguely meets your search criteria. They could use the same mystic criteria they use to match you in mutual match.

I drunk email random people sometimes. Not just a hello really I usually add some odd originality to it that I tend regret a little the next day when they write me back.

I figure if they don't reply it's no real loss...

Well I have to admit the "Hello" in the subject line and then nothing in the body of the e-mail kinda makes me mad..I usually don't respond to them..
To me it shows lack of character. Cuz how I am supposed to reply? "Hello"? It's an E-MAIL not an INSTANT MESSAGE.. the "Hello" in the e-mail and that is it, that's like you making a 1/2 step move..well I want a stride in my first e-mail..or they will be no answer..Sorry just my opinion..and yes I am being BIATCHY today.:P |

Don't let em take the easy way out and have you start a real conversation, but it's not really like it takes more a than a couple seconds to give them an appropriate reply. |

girls want something they can be half way interested in replying BACK too. you have to ask a question. |
