This morning after getting back from dropping kido off at school, I came back to the apartment. I pulled into a parking spot and not even a minute later the car started pulling out next to me. Well she turned the wheel too much and scraped the side of my car. Which was not that big of a deal b/c my car is a piece of crap. So I got out to see what the damage was. She apologized and apologized. I told her it was okay and asked if her car was okay. I told her no big deal it was okay... and she apologized some more and started to cry. So I gave her a hug. And told her it was okay... I don't care as long as my car was running.

So when I got home today, the most beautiful bouquet of flowers was at my door. On the card, it said sorry and thank you so much for being so nice to me this morning and I don't know why I was so brain dead. Clare (apt #).

So I went up there to thank her, but her roommate said that she left for vegas today and wouldn't be back until late sunday.

I totally didn't expect this. I feel better that somehow me being understanding and calm somehow had an effect on her, hopefully in a positive way. I wish her lots of luck in vegas!

I totally didn't expect the flowers.

I just shook it off and went through my day I think I only told one person about her bumping my car. We are all poor college students. I think even if I had a brand new car, I wouldn't have got upset. But totally cool that she thought to thank me.
