I know how you feel sweetie, it happened to me for the same reason. I was shakin in my boots also, I called a friend of mine that is a police officer and like other people have been saying, he told me it was probably an empty threat and it was thank God, but that didn't change the fact that he broke the law and my friend helped me press charges and he was arrested. He did 5 yrs. in State Prison. I hope you don't get angry with me for this, but when I read your post I made one of my own asking for anyone on here that is involved with Law Enforcement to look at your post and please give you some advice. This is all true but.......taking the road to posting this matter on other sites is not the way to go about things at all. One it could cause just enough to push one over the edge. It is best to loose all contact with them block them in anyway you can and contact your local Police Department to make a report with any information you can print up that shows they actually have threatened you. But to lash back at them could cause it to blow up to ignore them could take all the air out of their bite. Never be to cautious if they in fact know your full name, address, Phone number ect... This is why you should always be more careful when dealing with others online and not give out your personal information unless you have talked to them awhile.

I have known him for about 9 months online on 360, I liked his writings and he liked mine so we became freinds. We chatted once in a while, He was going to college somewhere in Romania, and than he starts talking like he is not in Romania and like he is some kinda creep, than he says he is joking and I take it too seriously, thing is I wasn't taking it seriously, he spent alot to time playing games. I totally bs him back with it. Than today, he pulls out all the stops and places that junk on me. To say shocked is not the right word. Anyways, whatever, I'm gone.

me personally......I would tell him to bring it....by the time he got there, I would be stationed in a good place to reach out and smack him on the head or neck with my tire thumper....no time to play, when someone threatens to kill me.....

Hate to rain on the parade....some people snap, and simply don't give a s*hit about all that....when there minds are made....thats that....I take all threats seriously...as I was taught, never underestimate any opponent, any one is capable of doing just about anything....

So if he doesn't know your name or address, really what is the chance of him finding you??? Perhaps a knee jerk reaction is to get nervous at a threat like that but seriously unless you live in a town of 5 people he wont find you...

As of lately, that might seem like a good idea, I certainly have had many moments of wanting to hurt someone who threatens my personal space. Thanks for the idea, I'll have to pass.

Granted, most of the time, it does work that way...but, it is like someone saying they are going to kill thereself....though you think they are just wanting attention, you should still do something, just incase they really are going to try...most often they just want attention, but is it really worth the risk???

A few years back I was threatened on the internet and the police took it very seriously, and the person was almost taken to jail. I'd print out the conversation and go to the police station immeaditely.
