Travel sounds like fun but I usually want more lead time to plan and budget. Christmas and all that. I thought about having people to California. Kind of move it around every six months.  Ya know what i'm sayin ladies  just kiddin

Well, so far it looks like about 15 of us want to go. Maybe this won't be a big shin dig after all. Maybe once word gets around. I'm going to e-mail some friends about it.

I think there may have been a few mini-meets prior to that....kinda like testing the waters.... but the one at your house was the first one of that magnitude, yes. |

Don't kill it for her guys....we need the optomism! Oh we're not killin it .. the meet at my house from another site was unbelievably successful. It's just nice when you can do someone's home because it's more personal. We sat around both nights in my backyard, chillin, sharin, smokin, and drinkin .. after karaoke and pool that is. We had a blast and I still keep in touch with all the people who stayed in my home.

You would be surprised at how respectable people really are at a get-together like this, especially if it's in one's home.

Funny, I guess I just live at high risk. I am definitely a live on the edge person. Had 10 people I'd never met in person stay with me, and more who came to everything but stayed in hotels or were local. This was from another site, and it was suggested to do the Vegas thing but it never worked out. I think having it here gave it a personal touch people needed to actually plan on. |
