I have my boys...18 and 12!! The Easter Bunny found them here this
morning, left the baskets on the porch flowerforyou
Their dad and I really don't have any problems about sharing them any
more...we both take turns and we work it out. The kids say who ever is
cooking the most food is where they want to be

My oldest 2 did there own thing for easter. My youngest went to her
boyfriends house for dinner with his family.

I had a cold sandwich.

Not used to that cause I been raising them myself since they were 9, 8
and 3.

I was in the archives and came across this thread.

I think we need to have compassion and understanding for all the parents out there with separated houses. Holidays can carry a lot emotions.

Mine have left home so its my time for me. What can I get up to? Still young enough to do anything.
Any ideas?

Hello Annie.
I am not from your part of the world. Summer is over but I am sure there is much to do.

Perhaps skydiving is in order for you?
Perfectly senseless and exciting at the same time.
Your kids will call you crazy.laugh
Maybe it will remind you of being a kid yourself?

I'm working out of the country this Easter and while my sons are grown and have families of their own I do miss not seeing my grandkids on these holidays. But I did call them and talked to them about what the Easter Bunny brought to them and I did make sure there was a gift from "Poppy" there as well. Just hearing their little voices was enough to make my Easter fine.
