Back to your topic, there is nothing wrong with a chatroom option in
here. Yes, if that's what people want to do versus threads, for sure.
Due to my condition, I prefer the pace of a forum, where I can take my
time with my words and typing, and sometimes with my thought's. How's
that hun????????

besides, as with all places, if you can't keep your eyes from being glue
to a particular conversation in a thread, then try some good quality eye
drops...

I've known folks to be completely blind to things they chose not to be
aware of...

Let me try this one more time.

I don't want to replace forums with chatrooms. What do I think of
chatrooms? Personally, I HATE 'em!. Too much crap going on at once.

But some people like them. And so, for those of us who hate them, I also
suggested that maybe a forum just for the express purpose of "chatting"
in somewhat "real-time" would be an option as well.

In fact, someone had reminded that there are a few forums in here
already that are designed for that purpose; the bar one being one of
them.

I don't mind at all that the forums get a bit off topic, but I think at
least they should be "constrained," to a degree, to the topic at hand.

If they're not going to be, then what's the sense of even naming the
forums? Just have a bunch of forums and call them all "Yak Your Happy
Asses Off About What You Want and Wherever You Want; We Don't Give a
Damn."

I hope that clairifies my point and does a little bit to lessen people's
perception of me as this evil witch who just wants to rain on everyone's
forum parade..

Judging from some of the responses I'm getting, I'm beginning to think
the English I write must be a foreign language to some of those who read
