I think you need to face the fact that you are dealing with someone who is seriously mentally ill. And take it as a serious threat to your personal safety. He has already been verbally, physically, and emotionally abusive to you. What do you need for him to do before you put a stop to this guy? He is feeding on the attention and probably even reading what you post here. He has your phone number he knows where you live. You need to get serious about this guy before he goes off on you. Block all contact and stop talking about the issue on public sites. Get a professional involved. This guy is a threat to self and others waiting to happen. My guess he has a long history of this kind of behavior. That he will loose interest is not likely.

Pacific.... not sure where/why/how you are going to this extreme about it. I never said he was abusive.

I'd guess he has some self-esteem issues and probably depression, but I don't know enough about him to say more. I've certainly not presented enough for anyone else to take it to the level you have. If I thought he was a danger to himself or others, I'd have contacted the proper authorities and/or clinicians. I work in mental health and am well aware of the criteria. He does not even come close to meeting them. This person has no idea I am on this site, nor does he know my screen name.

After my last e-mail, he sent me an apology and has not contacted me since.

WOW just WOW after reasing this thread, I can Honestly say that he is a messed up person. And he is giving the male species a bad rep. the only good point of his actions are to serve as a warning to others on how not to act.

I think a good message here is if you are supposed to be on medication, take it. And if you make changes, titrate with a doctor's supervision and recommendation.

And never, ever use medication as an excuse, unless you are 18 and do not know drinking on antibiotics causes vomiting.
