how do you block a person before he even tries to communicate with? My Exhusband is in mingle too. I do not want any communication from him. I want to block him before he tries to email me if possible?? Help please?

well i think he has to contact her first, and then, he might ask something like to be a friend....and she can hit the block button or block feature. better yet, if the man is stalking or harassing her go to the big guns....administration here on this site, tell them your story, and let them decide how to handle it.

Why can't you just send him an email telling him you don't want any contact with him.....you know....in a polite way?

I think if you go to his profile, click on report user link at top of screen... and I think you can block him from there.

You can't block him unless he sends you an e-mail or a friend request.

Hi, NURSE2000. As the posters above have noted, it's not possible to block a user before he/she contacts you. It is also possible to block a user during an IM conversation, by the way. You'll find the 'block' button near the upper right of the IM window.
