I just like a bunch of others like men and ladies from other countries. I am from the USA but me I like folks from the UK. You might like those from the UK or another country but my questions are these, What country or place would you want to find someone from? How many of you are willing to travel to meet your love connection? Do you think long distance friendships or love connections work? Well let me know what you think..

I have been talking with a lady in the UK for almost a year now and though we express deep feelings for eachother, nither one of us can afford a plane ticket to make a meeting happen. It is amazing the connection we have, but we both understand that our meeting is not going to happen soon and that we do date other people in our respective countries, but we both have such a draw to eachother that any one we are dating can not measure up to the feelings we have for eachother. If you are going to do this you need to have alot of patence and trust in the other person. good luck and I hope yuo meet someone ans loving and understanding as my UK lady

Maybe we are the only ones smart enough to understand you!

As far as friends it does not matter how far away they live. I have made friends with many on here and after two years we are still talking and have a great time and many laughs.

But for a serious relationship to me if they are long distance to begin with then someone would have to move. For I'm not one that wants to have a long term relationship with someone that lives far away. With no hope of ever being in the same place.

Just a few visits a year is not what I'm looking for but would be willing to wait and try it for a while if once we meet and the chemistry is there. That is if there is plans of one moving then I would be willing as far as that goes. But LDR are very hard on both parties.

somewhere in there, if i dig deep enough, is a compliment sent in my direction huh?

i never thought that i'd find friends across the ocean, yet i've met dan twice, and lisa once, (england and scotland) and i consider them both lifelong friends and have every intention of meeting up with the both again one day.

i don't know about a long distance relationship across the sea. it's tough enough going back and forth 1500 miles. besides, this one is a keeper and i'm not gonna have any more relationships, long distance or elsewise.

so there.
