magic jack. and what do you think of it for a phone.

well i guess no one has tried it. i got one now and they are very sweet.$106.00 for 5 years of long distance and local phone.i am stopping my land line Monday.one has to save money some ware.

A friend has one and swears by it. I read all the reviews and they didn't sound too good. I hope yours does you well!

I've heard its a total rip-off... there was even a segment about it on the local news.

i am now saving 600 a year on my phone bill,it works good for me. it is so cheep it is worth the one year try.you can put it on your lap top to.use it any ware.

Nokia N95 8GB - it's the bomb.

Had a guy tell me it he loves the thing. Couldn't get an 808 area code for it (Hawaii), but still felt like bragging about it to me. Might be worth it.

With magicjack, if your computer goes down, so does your phone. That's one catch with it.

I pay under $2.50 / month for unlimited US and Canada service through Skype. If you have to have your phone (rather than headphones), then I guess the Magic Jack is a pretty good deal.

I do the Skype thing to. I use it as my landline, and have a wireless for when my roommate forgets to pay the cable.

They have been testing a new phone that is a cell internet phone that will pick up either for one price per month. Internet like the cells also. But way cheaper. My understanding that is why we have seen prices fall on cells because they are trying to beat out skype. Before they launch the service. They have it in Parts of Europe now

so far no catch.my x has to call Florida witch i picked that number.she has to use he long dis min on her cell.and all my friends have no problem with how it sounds. after 7 at night the sound sucks. after 7 at night i guess it is free for annyone to call well i dont want her to call after 7 when she does it sounds like s@@@.in the day time it works good.it is well worth the $106 dollars for 5 years of free long dis and local.with caller id call waiting voice mail that comes in as a wave file as a email witch i use in court i love it. so all i have to do is piss her off to send me a email or voice mail.play it in court the look on her face priceless. so far i have had it for one or two weeks not one voice mail from her.the peace of mind of coming home to all the attempts of her to call my daughter and not talk to the voice mail their are not words to say how i feel.this was a girl that would leave 4 to 8 a day for years.go out and get one.if you have a x and a child that you had together it is a great xmass gift to you.
