Now, for my serious answer...

...I'd tell the kid like I did my 2 I have now, before they were born...

...Daddy's going to always love you with every beat of his heart and do the best he can to make sure you are happy as can be. Straight up, you're coming into a World that f@ckin sucks, but I'm going to make sure that it doesn't for you!

Thank you Engraven, much respect for the forthright answer.drinker drinker

You're welcome, but it's just an answer.

An answer is just an answer, but at least it is honest and to the point of the question.

I would tell them what I told my daughter.

Family and friends come and go, husbands leave and children grow up. This is life. Make yourself happy and love yourself first, then worry about others.

Life was given to you. Do not give your life in vain to someone who can not cherish yours as they do their own.

And remember, regardless how life gets, someone somewhere always loves you.

If I am talking to a fetus..I may as well be talking to a bowling ball or a cantaloupe.

When the child ages and gets some reference points established....then they know true love from the ACTIONS of thier parents...not just words.

I talked to my daughter all the time while she was in the womb.

Even sang to her what would become her favorite lullaby after birth to this day:

Happy Together by The Turtles
