I don't think he's too bad. If he could run for President another term, I'd probably vote for him.

Yes, I am serious. This wasn't meant as a joke.

Just how I feel about it and my opinion is all.

Yet, you still have the internet and able to voice your opinion.

Thomas,

My child told me something that happened in their Social Studies class this week. The teacher was having everybody write what they thought Bush did good and what they thought he did bad. One boy had mostly good things. The teacher corrected him. Btw, these are elementary school kids in a Christian school.

The poor kids opinion was "corrected?" That's not good.

He was corrected for only saying good things about Bush.
She told him what really happened. She told him the facts.

This surprised me because I have been learning how "conservative" this school is in regards to this election.

I have to agree with t22learner here...

I hope he wasn't corrected with facts from a Michael Moore video or something.
However, since he was corrected of his opinions which I sure as far as he knew were facts and told what the teacher believed to be facts, I do hope the teacher did inform the child of some positive things as well.

I guess being in the Military, I saw things from a slightly different perspective, but then again maybe I didn't.

I'm just saying really, it Bush this and Bush that, almost to a point where it's sickening. I mean, overall, my everyday life and how I go about it, really isn't all that bad. I can't personally pinpoint one thing he's done as President that's had such an impact on my life that it has driven me to the point of hatred.

I've stayed employed, because I've wanted to be employed.
I've progressed, because I've worked hard to progress.
I believe if I can do it, almost anybody is capable of doing the same.

And again, I do sincerely hope that any lesson that is to be taught in school has an even balance of the good and bad. The day they stop teaching children to be and think positive in school, is probably the day I would really begin to worry.

Thomas,

I do see things from a different perspective than you. I have a child and own a home. Raising a child changes the way you view the world.flowerforyou

Exactly, all this talk about Bush this, and Bush that, yet no one can really say how their life was personally ruined by him like they make out.

It must be easier to quote something off the news or internet, than reflect back on your own life for the last 8 years.
