Okay I can't say that I'm not a Nascar fan or that I'm a Nascar fan. Yes I have been to some of the races but that was due to Future Equipment and Ditch Witch Company sent the company I work for free tickets to their VIP Rooms they had for the races. I assure you the ones that I met there were far from being unintelligent. There were from CEO's of the company to the Mechanics & Secretary's. Yeah I'm a Secretary and I don't consider myself as not being intelligent nor do I consider anyone that I know that way that are big Nascar fans. Ohh and for the record I had a blast each time I went.

It is like any other sport. Some fans are real cool and some are well jerks. It is an art to be able to handle that much machine and the team of people that make it go. By no means a sport that any idiot can play in virtually any position. It takes intelligence, timing, and skill to do and if you are really going to understand it learning the specifics as a fan.

Wedge, track bar adjustments, taking spacers out of the spring to improve downforce, track position, the difference between a track that has been rained on and one that has "laid down rubber",drafting and clean air vs dirty and side force, going 200 mph hour while 3 feet apart from tons of steel 4 wide..If u have no idea what im talking about, then u cant make an opinion about the complexity of just "going in circles" and what is seen when u look closer at things

Blah, blah, blah. It's still just "go fast, turn left." Whoopee.
I'd get more enjoyment watching people throw up from carnival rides. |

Ever notice how non-nascar fans frequently have to say something vulgar to make their point? Shows how little they are willing to learn or look past their own opinions. |

What else IS there to say? And what did I say that was vulgar? Besides, that's what forums are for -- opinions. You may not like mine, but that doesn't mean I should be forced to like yours, either. If I wanted to watch something go around in circles, I'd watch a washing machine or a turntable. It certainly isn't my idea of fun or a good time, but hey, whatever blows up your dress. |
