no not at all,i was chatting with one person,and we sent a lot of messages back and forth,then it said my message limit was reached.

I'm thinking 10 minutes. I think that happened to me once and it told me how long to wait. My IM on here hasn't worked ,(yes I made sure the setting was on), since the switch over from JSH. That'd make communication so much easier!
