Asking me if I would mind getting to know someone of a different race..ALL the time..Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't we all here for the same general purpose?..To meet someone?..Why is race such a big deal..The last time I checked my calendar it said 2008 on it.

Well yeah you're right..No matter what year it is we will always be stuck in the 40s-50s in one way or another..it's just so far beyond stupid that theres no word for it! |

Some people do not date out of their own race. Tho it's 2008, some people still don't do it. I agree it's irriating however, I wouldn't pay much attention. They are just asking to see if you're interested or not.

I'd be flip about that but I only quit trying to be "good enough" for my mom since last Nov. Not trying to be "good enough" for anyone else either... (and guess what...99%of the people I ws trying to be good enough for already had no doubt!)
The result is amazing and my life is SO much better, but I do sort of get it...just not as it relates to race or such things...that is SO beyond my scope of understanding! |
