I'll listen to pretyy much most of the bands mentioned,but no one mentioned Megadeth or Priest I've just re-kindled my love affair with "Rust In Peace" man.....and I had forgotten how much MORE talented they are than Metallica......Rob Halford?....still too gay for me.....

Rob Halford is the only gay man i would be afraid off. He would rape your ass and send your soul to hell with that screeching wailing scream he does. O_O

I like a LOT of metal, but Pantera is my favorite. The best metal musicians, for some reason, seem to be fans of old-school country (I do a lot of reading up on these guys). I didn't even like metal until I was about 40.

Yeah, I miss Dimebag.....he was shot only a day or two after Damageplan played here in CT....... NOBODY had as much fun playing a guitar as Dimebag did. It still makes me sad and pissed.....

I love all kinds or rock! I hate all the sub genre names for the music though. Ive been to tons of concerts, Ozzfests, and Family values a few time but MAYHEM was the greatest metal fest I have ever been to. right now Im looking forward to seeing mudvayne and snot next month
