if you found yourself miles from any sort of creature comforts do you think you could survive? do you have any sort of skills that might come in handy?

as long as i had a good knife and a few very basic supplies, i could last as long as i needed to. i can live completely of a piece of land. i can gather food, make shelter, and know how to make my own tools for survival. growing up in the country will teach you a few things. and being in boy scouts was good for something other than selling popcorn.

Humm sure I would be lost but with determination and common sense I think I could make it.
Maybe all those movies I've watched some idea would actually have sunk in. lmao

I'm the middle of 7 (yep, that's SEVEN) girls, and I'm the one who hung out with my Dad. I've got the whole camping, survivalist, hunting thing down pat. Some of it I resented while growing up, but it's come in handy & I don't think I'd get voted off the island lol.

what did poor defensless grub do to you to make you wanna beat up on it,,, and all you do is take the head off it and swallow it whole,, dont chew it cause it will be completely nasty, just swallow it and its over. trust me,, if your hungry enough, you will eat it. |

I think I could, with a few basics like a knife & matches or a lighter. String would be helpful, but I guess I could unravle a bit of my clothing or use vines. I was a girl scout & am well read. Not very squeamish, although I am with you on swallowing grubs whole. I don't think I'd enjoy that juicy burst!
