Topic: Lawsuit in every state 'til O proves his b/c or NOT! | |

If U visited the site, U'd see first, they hired an atty, then they write open letter to Mrs. O. so she could state truth, so not all (ill-relevant)of it released. Then they waited (one week gone by from start, not all that long)few days, then they say, fox news was chosen to air this. Will be anxious to see this come to pass (rather than not) as too much cover-up about his 'right' to run as Pres. has happened. BB BTW, do U work for O's camp? Straight forward details on health care show huge diff between debit - and coverage. O's is not the best by a long shot. You only had to wait 4 hrs.? You're a lucky one! Also, if you already have insurance with the company you work for, you keep that insurance. Obama's plan is to help the working people who have no insurance and fell through the cracks. I don't EVEN like McCain's plan to give us money to purchase an insurance plan and then tax us on that money. So taxing us on a uniform healthcare is better? Its a sensless dependency if you ask me... It's gotta say something if Ron Paul prefered McCain's healthcare plan over Obama's.... At least Obama wants to really help. McCain says nothing for those who are on disability and need more coverage but do not pay taxes, or those who have to pay big healthcare costs for existing diseases which his rebate will not cover but a small amount. There is alot of holes in McCain's plan but it goes with the fact he is not in touch with the Average Joe...lol I do wonder what McCain will do with Social Security. He would like to privatize it. I know elderly people that can't afford their meds so they get it cheaper from Canada. They hate to do that but they have no choice. It is so wrong that the elderly people have to do that. Considering what the stock market has gone through recently privatizing the social security should be completely off the table. |

Used to be easy... Used to be the republicans stood for modest policies and small government, and dems stood for big government and more involvment overseas. Now it seems they are both for big government and foreign intervention. This is what is CAUSING our mess.
Small government, modest foriegn policy of nonintervention, and focus on keeping civil liberties. This would solve pretty much ALL our problems. I don't see Obama making plans to do any of that... |

If we could lower the cost of healthcare, gasoline and education all at once wouldn't you think it foolish not to look into it? Audit the fed, reback the dollar, cut government spending, start working of the deficit, and cut taxes. It requires a simple practice of reverting back to our old ways. The government should be focusing on how to help people help themselves, not helping people itself. This program he is speaking of will eventually make MOST of us dependent on it. Than that is just one more thing future candidates can use to manipulate you... I always love the old quotes but socialism will not happen here unless the bailout that the republicans just did is not ever reversed and then we really need to worry. Healthcare being a priority of the budget is not socialism. It is the proper caring for the residents of this country. The technicalities of what can and will be done will depend on Congress, of course, Obama is not a dictator. We the people will also have a say in this by our contacting our representatives. I know the conservative Republicans in this country have to be in shock over the methods of the Bush administration. Government handouts and socialistic government bailouts in the private sector...lol |

Social security cannot be made voluntary because if a person mismanages their money and grows old they will still get SSI anyway so they will pull from the pool anyway. And there is another one too for those who did not work enough but I cannot remember the name of it but it comes from the social security pool also so voluntary is not an option. |

I knew my money was going to be sent to the government to be used where it was needed. I paid my taxes proudly for this reason. It is the American way, that is why we pay taxes. Yea, I know Bush was dictatorlike but we will be getting rid of him. Obama is a constitutional lawyer, I'll bet he admires the constitution and all it stands for. |

There is a time to think, hey lets spend money to help people. And then there is a time to say, well...we need to help this country before we can help its citizens.
I am against any for of government help that encourages dependence on it. PERIOD. I have faith in people. I believe when push comes to shove everyone wants to help their neighbors and should be allowed to do so.... I don't mind the government stepping in. There is a time and place for everything. I Just wish there was more focus on teaching people how to get by instead of deoing things FOR them... |

We need to have faith that people aren't all imcompetant. If they are, we educated them, we dont' remove responsibilities from them... What you stated is all good in theory but workable...no. We cannot watch the elderly who make bad choices live on the streets. It just cannot be done with good conscience. They need to be cared for as our elderly citizens even if they did not pay into social security they contributed to this country. Every life counts. Every one. So they would need help and care and we the tax payer would pay for it anyway, so why mess with the program they already have that helps? |

Our charities here who help those who need it, run out of money all the time. They cannot help. I don't see the neighbors running around trying to help them either so who will? |

It makes me angry that our government is spending social security to offset our shortcomings... Too bad Obama and McCain will keep doing so. I would love to see someone make social security voluntary... I agree they need to stop using the social security pool as a permanent bank with interest free loans whenever they need it. Social security cannot be made voluntary because if a person mismanages their money and grows old they will still get SSI anyway so they will pull from the pool anyway. And there is another one too for those who did not work enough but I cannot remember the name of it but it comes from the social security pool also so voluntary is not an option. This is where we need to educated people to manage this money. And people would not be allowed to participate in social security if they did not pay in on it. You get what you pay for. Because it;s not used for a good purpose. It'[s used to further government spending. I wouldn't have a BIG problem with it if it were used properly by congress. But i still stand behind our constitution. I don't believe in making retirement plans MANDITORY... |

Again, your ideal here works well on paper but in reality it doesn't. Our charities here who help those who need it, run out of money all the time. They cannot help. I don't see the neighbors running around trying to help them either so who will? Educate the masses, encourage donations and help. Give major tax breaks to corporations that donate to charities. I just think we rely on government WAY too quickly... But that is besides the point. As i said, social security is the least of our problems right now... |

Food pantries barely have enough food to help people right now. Neighbors helping? This is not the 1950's and everybody knows everybody. People move too much now to have that. |

O's exposed on Ayre's review 1997 http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/20/obama-praised-searing-timely-book-ayers/ ---copy-- Barack Obama, who has consistently downplayed his relationship with William Ayers during his presidential campaign, once gave a glowing endorsement of a book by the former domestic terrorist and was mentioned by name in the book itself. A blogger unearthed the Dec. 21, 1997, endorsement in the Chicago Tribune and posted photographs of the praise for Ayers' book on Zombietime.com Saturday. Featured next to a smiling photograph of himself, then-State Senator Obama called Ayers' book, "A Kind and Just Parent: Children of the Juvenile Court," a "searing and timely account of the juvenile court system, and the courageous individuals who rescue hope from despair."---end c- Bless them bloggers!! O's pic on the jacket review is there too! 1997, NOT 8 yrs old. What a spin = lie! Others have found alot more of this 'close' relationship as well. |
