I think the interpretations are age dependent, and generational, and cultural. A 20 - 30 - 40 year old wanting an 'activity partner', is probably not meaning only innocent play and beach walks and tiddlywinks forever. But an older - say 70 plus person is less likely to be after sex only, more likely lunch meetings and window shopping and comparing ailments. Myself wants an activity partner for ALL activities, even ones I haven't thought of yet. Or just a partner who is active, and not de-activated.

Odd so many think 'activity partner' is about sex. If it was, people would say that, sex partner, NSA partner or whatever. To me activity partner is someone you have enough common interest with to do fun thing like a day-trip, visit a museum or gallery or whatever interests both. But not sex. That is how I see it as well... someone who is more of a platonic friend that you go do things with. Try it on your profile, you will get a ton of guys more interested in the love chariot than a day trip,

When I go to my home page there is a bit that says recent activity, there is a list of scores of young girls and I can't remember even laying a finger on one of them ,

Always a hassle because of the M2 popup about me using AdBlock. Can take 3-4 refreshes to get just the one link clicked.

When people list that they are looking for an activity partner what does that really mean? It means someone looking to go to do activities with someone. Isn't that obvious? LOL

As far as I can tell, it seems to refer to any and all of the possibilities given in the previous posts, depending on the person seeking an activity partner. It's fair enough if the person gives various physical or outdoor activities as part of their interests to assume that it refers to these but as others have said, what if the rest of their profile is blank? Actually, I once asked someone seeking an 'activity partner' and an otherwise blank profile exactly what activities they had in mind but it was obviously too stupid a question to merit an answer.

I'm looking for an "activity partner" to help me move the couch and the fridge. Haven't cleaned behind them for years. Actually my last "activity partner" may still be behind one of them.
