And I should care what Howard Stern thinks, why? I can't stand the guy. |

And I should care what Howard Stern thinks, why? What Howard Stern thinks is irrelevant. What Howard Stern's impromptu study proves is relevant. The majority of people who support Obama do so because they are infatuated with the man. Before Obama had taken a stand on a single national issue, people were saying "I like his platform". A US congressman was busted on national tv for taking that stance and when asked "What is Obama's platform", he had no answers. |

No way does Stern prove that the majority of people are infatuated with Obama. He spoke to a small amt. of people that are obviously not educated about the issues. I'm sure that the same would happen if he pulled the same stunt with some of McCain's fans. They are ga-ga over a V.P. candidate just because she's a woman. They are ignoring what she has done as Mayor and Governor just because she's a woman. |

I dont think its a cult following as much as people all know what the republican trickle down economics has done. I would say alot of it is what they feel is the lesser of two evils, they know what the countrys state is in..Personally I know there are people I would rather see elected but until we get rid of the two party system its not going to change..To call all people backing Obama a cult is off base. Lets get some reality into this... Trickle down worked farily well... Tell about 2 years ago. My gas prices started going up the day after the democrats got control of congress... Whats up with that? Make any one think... I doubt it. When I ask an Obama supporter what his voting record is MOST OF THEM DON'T KNOW... When I ask about particular bills most of them have no idea what I am talking about... How can you even think you are voting for the good of our country if you have not taken the time to LEARN WHAT CONGRESS IS ACTUALLY DOING. Go ahead... rely on the news... then you will know only what they want you to know. When you wake up and realize that you have given away liberty... I will be here to help you get it back. You will find me clinging to my guns and my faith... |

Interesting...obama's website continually compares his plan to Reagan's reality......not all that great???? Then why is Obama measuring his plan against it...???

They are ignoring what she has done as Mayor and Governor just because she's a woman. Actually one guy interviewed wa a McCain supporter, and he was just as ill informed... But i do believe the message though. It seems that anyone voting for either candidate, is pretty uneducated about their policies and the outcome they would have. But, i also have to admit, personally, all of the Obama supporters i've talked to believe in Obama very much, but can't explain what good any of his policies would do. As far as McCain supporters go, McCain seems to have a slightly more modest approach to things, which can sound reasonable. I also cant debatethis one argument... McCain, being a republican, would off set the dems running away with our government the way the Bush ran away with it. I would rather see McCain get shot down, or the dem congress get shot down, than Obama actually following through with his plans. But that certainly doesn't give me a good enough reason to vote McCain... |

This doesn't prove anything. On the Republican side, you've got people who are voting because they think Sarah Palin's hot, or that Obama's a terrorist, or because they've heard that McCain's a maverick. There are also a lot of people on either side who have very good reasons for voting the way they do. Videos are easily manipulated, and we're talking about Howard Stern here...obviously going for sensationalism and comedic effect. Anybody who made an intelligent response would have been edited out.

EEk... Howard Stern only did what others have before him. I watched a group of people answer with names of people they thought associated with pictures they were shown.. Judge Judy was correctly identified by 100% of the persons asked. Bush was identified by about 60% of the persons asked. Obama by about 50%. Mccain by about 50%. Sara Palin by only about 40%. Biden (get this) was misidentified by nearly all as 'mccain'. Not a single person in the group knew anything about the actual issues when asked. NOT A ONE. Yet that would be the majority of people we have voting in our current campaigns. I personally asked a woman in my neigborhood who she was voting for and the answer shocked me. She intends to vote the 'straight Republican ticket' as she has 'since I was old enough to vote'... when I asked her who Obama was she did not even know the name... Nor did she know the Vice Pres canditate was a female. |
