I LOVE TRUE BLOOD!
I actually just bought the first three books from the "Sookie Stackhouse series" which the show is based off of. I'm not a huge fan of the writing style, but so far, it seems that the show has followed the book fairly closely, although, I've been told to expect some big shockers. I can't wait. |

The show is incredible. I was a fan of another vampire show back in the day during my high school years... won't say what, but it doesn't take a genius, lol. I'm just glad there's a more adult version on these days.
The writing is rather in-depth for such an outrageous concept. It's a great challenge to have unrealistic concepts like vampires, mindreaders and shapeshifters, but still have realistic storylines along the way. True Blood does a great job in making an unrealistic world so real. |
