Girl's in a relationship with a guy. Guy starts working, completely drops his social life, including girlfriend, and their mutual friends (who fixed them up in the first place). Girl gives him the benefit of a doubt, but knows he gets several days off, but she doesn't hear from him for weeks on end. Worse, guy and girl went from seeing each other 3-4 times a day to not seeing each other at all. No phone calls or anything, and girl would call and leave a message. He never returned the call. Girl is irritated, but not so much.

(Confused yet? No? M'kay.)

A month and a half later, girl finds out that guy called mutual friends on his day off. Girl waited for his call...never got it. Mutual friends don't hear from him for a bit longer after that. Then guy calls them again asking to hang out. No call on the girl's end. Girl is officially livid, because he did this siht once before, and she knows that he won't call this time either.

In short: Why does he call everyone else, excluding girlfriend? Makes little sense.

(And so does this thread, but that's what happens when you're also trying to pay attention to a phone conversation!)

why would girl still consider guy her boyfriend when she hadn't heard from him in a month?? That's just stupid

If guy doesn't return calls, girl should consider him "over" but geez...it would be nice if he'd just give her ONE call to say so...or an email...or send a letter... Just as a common courtesy, ya know?

I dont think girlfriend was into guy much. Why didnt girl ever confront guy in person? She knew where he was, and when. Something is missing

No, girl can't confront guy if the only thing she knows is that he's at work. She doesn't know his days off or anything. Even if she did call him, he'd not pick up his phone (assuming he's working?). She leaves a message, he doesn't return the call.



If this is the case, go figure. Always getting the siht end on relationships.

makes perfect sense to me...guy dumps girl and doesnt tell her, girl not bright enough to figure it out...turn on the lights, build a bridge, move on....
